Meet the Doctor:
Matthew Aldred, DDS
Dr. Matthew Aldred was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor
of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia and attended dental school at VCU School of Dentistry, serving as a teaching assistant his senior year. He was presented with the award for High Achievement in Caring for Persons with Disabilities from the Special Care Dentistry Association. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he completed two years of general practice residency at UVA Hospital, where he learned many advanced techniques such as dental implant placement and IV sedation. Dr. Aldred is also a husband, and father to two beautiful girls. When not practicing dentistry, he spends time with his family enjoying the James River park system, visiting the Chesapeake Bay, and grilling outdoors.
Meet our Front Desk:
Tina Capehart
If you’ve made an appointment with us, you have likely spoken with our wonderful Front Desk staff, Tina Capehart! Tina brings lots of experience working in a dental office and keeping us organized with insurance billing and scheduling patient appointments. Her sweet and kind personality make her a great fit in the office and we are thrilled to have her! Outside of the office, Tina can be found relaxing and spending time with her family.

Megan DeArmond, BSDH, RDH
Megan DeArmond joined the Aldred Family Dentistry team as our Dental Hygienist. Megan has worked in the dental field for over 10 years and as a dental hygienist for 6 years. She builds a great rapport with her patients and has an infectious positivity! When not taking care of our patients, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and two sons.
Laura Roberson, BSDH
Laura Roberson recently re-joined Aldred Family Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist. Laura had previously worked with the team as a Hygiene Assistant and we are thrilled to have her back in the office following her graduation from the hygiene program at Old Dominion University. Laura provides excellent care to the patients in our practice and we are glad to have her back caring for them!

Jennifer Bryant
Jennifer was born and raised in Montpelier, Virginia. She earned her dental assistant degree from Medical Careers Institute, where she graduated with honors. She is very passionate about her work and loves to assist her patients with their dental needs. Jennifer is a wife to Gary and mother to Lynsie and Alayna. When she is not assisting Dr. Aldred, she enjoys volunteering at her daughters’ schools, spending time with her family, and she absolutely loves to bake all kinds of desserts and learn new decorating techniques!
Kelsie Moore
Our newest assistant, Kelsie is a Montpelier native and provides wonderful care to the patients in our practice. She is a woman of many talents and we are glad to have her share those with our team! Kelsie is also a true animal lover and, when not in the office, she and her family enjoy spending time with their many furry and feathered friends!
